Tests have been carried out on the contact time of Intra Hoof-Fit Spray.
Six dairy cows were sprayed with Intra Hoof-Fit Spray.Swabs were taken at four different stages after the initial spraying.
Each swab showed signs of both copper and zinc up to 9 hours after spraying while on slates.
This long contact time provides the copper with a better period to disinfect the area and protect against further infection for longer.
